Event News – January / February 2016
Our offices re-opened on 11 January and we got stuck into the last 2 weeks of January with doing all the final arrangements and logistics for the Sustainable Settlement Innovation Summit (SSIS) for the WC Department of Environmental & Development Planning. (DEADP)
These types of conferences are our passion so it was great to be a part of this summit and to be involved with all the activities.
February
1 & 2 February had arrived and the summit was in full swing at Hotel Verde – the greenest hotel in Africa. This is the most beautiful hotel with the friendliest of staff. The conference was opened by MEC Anton Bredell and the 2 days saw some very interesting topics and speakers with 2 speakers from the UK. Delegates who attended were from the departments of WC DEADP & Human Settlements, The City of Cape Town, various municipalities and private companies.
12 February
The Road Accident Fund had an event called “Spreading the Love” and we provided décor, catering, sound and a guest speaker in Richard Hardiman to speak about change as they will be going through some changes over the upcoming months. It was a great event with everyone donned in red & white
