December was an exciting and busy month as we headed into the festive season.
On 10 December we had an event for the Road Accident Fund for the 16 Days of Activism with the theme Fashion forward. The staff had so much fun as they had a competition for the best dressed. We provided catering, décor, entertainment, gifts and photography services.
November started off to be very busy. Our first event was to procure an MC and entertainment for the Red Tape Reduction Unit’s Awards held on 5 November at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay.
We procured the lovely Jo-Ann Strauss as the MC and the Frank Paco Art Ensemble for amazing jazz music.
CSI Initiative
AKE supports this annual and very worthy and most awesome cause.
We delivered our boxes on Saturday 24 October and are very proud to have donated 8 boxes to 8 happy recipients. #happychildren #happyholidays

Eventing News
September was Heritage and Tourism Month with many events and activities that happened throughout South Africa.
On 28 September we provided décor and entertainment for the Road Accident Fund’s Heritage Day celebration. Everyone who attended – had loads of happy fun
AKE was at The Blisters for Bread on 23 August providing characters like Minions, Elsa The Frozen Princess and Face Painting The CSI department of Grandwest Casino and Entertainment World. The children (and adults) had great fun
July and Aug saw us busy with events that we always enjoy doing!
We were of service to The Engen Knockout Challenge media draw and fixtures played during 7-9 August. The VIP marquee was abuzz and those who partook in the food – really enjoyed it!
We have successfully been awarded the Premier’s Entrepreneurship Recognition Awards (PERA) on 19 November taking place at The Tsogo Sun Cape Sun Hotel. We are very excited as it’s a project that lies very close to our hearts.

On Friday 26 June 2015 we had the 110% Green Synergy Day for The Dept of the Premier and The Department of Economic Development & Tourism. Speakers included Premier Helen Zille, Representatives from Greencape, International Synergies Limited, WISP and ComboTimber Structures. The delegates had inspiring and meaningful sessions and are looking forward to future collaborations and continuing to make a difference.
April started with an Easter activation for Grand West Casino. We provide the Easter Bunny to hand out Easter eggs to the children who visited Grand West.
